What if the tournament's delayed or cancelled?
The pool stays locked. Live scoring picks back up whenever play resumes — Monday finishes, weather delays, restarts all just work. If the tournament's cancelled outright, that's between you and your buddies. We don't hold the money.
Can someone enter after the lock?
Yes — up to a small Mulligan buffer (one extra slot per 20 paid entrants, max 5). Beyond that, $5 unlocks 5 more spots. Once Thursday tee-off hits, the lock is permanent.
What if my buddy enters twice by mistake?
Patron flags duplicate emails automatically — they show up in your admin with a DUP tag. You decide who stays. Two-step confirmation before anyone gets removed.
How do prizes get paid out?
However you want. Venmo, cash, Apple Pay, IOUs at the bar — that's your call. We just generate the leaderboard and the CSV with everyone's real name. You handle the Venmo. We handle the math.
What if I need to refund someone?
Patron itself doesn't refund. But you can remove an entry from the leaderboard at any time — they just won't show up in the standings. The buy-in is yours to settle directly.
Will my buddies' real names be public?
No. They pick an alias when they enter. Real names stay private — visible only to you on the admin page, when you need them for prize distribution. Leaderboards and recaps show the alias only.
